Settle down, Weebs, we didn’t do a full normal breakdown and analysis of the behemoth that is Hunter x Hunter (pronounced “Hunter Hunter” for reasons we couldn’t begin to get into). The task was a daunting one, but with the help of Dan Caves, a pocket thesaurus, and the steady guiding hand of Anubo, they were able to avoid being judged.

The inimitable Nic Robes joined the Cartoncasters to visit the moon (not that one, the other one), where they met with a curious young man, one Hans Brickman. A short interview later and they learned all about the circuitous, seemingly arbitrary, and self-contradictory story of his life as a bricklayer. It was a sad tale, fraught with hardship, abuse, confusing allegories, alien invasion, ska, and Stifler from American Pie. We can't do it justice to try to recount it here, but we recommend you take a listen. It'll definitely toughen you up! Spigot.

After tapping their way past strange and gross oddities they found an amusement park filled with security cameras but no bathrooms. Their detective skills were working overtime trying to unravel the mysteries, but the harder they worked, the more unreal the world seemed to be, and the louder that saxophone solo got. In the end, they decided that some secrets were too hard to decipher, and that no ultimate truths would be better than the taste of the new Subway 15/32-foot goatmeat sub on gaseous bread.
